Whistler Longboard Festival 2012 – Register now!

Registration is open for the Whistler Longboard Festival DH race, so get on it!

The UNKLE Events team is proud to launch registration for the Whistler Longboard Festival on May 3^rd on www.longboardfestival.com. The 3 day Downhill Event is Presented by Arbor Skateboards and will happen July 13-15^th 2012. The Festival will be launching another 2 competitions at a new venue shortly that will also be part of the Festival and will take place on Thursday July 12^that Whistler Olympic Park. Justus Zimmerly

Born in Chicago and raised on the flat Canadian prairies, it wasn’t until moving to Ontario for school in 2005 that Justus got a taste for riding skateboards down hills. Since then it’s been a bit of an obsession. He graduated with a degree in Film Studies, but spent as much time focussed on skateboarding as he did on studying. Now he’s living the good life in Oakland, California, riding his motorcycle and working as Editor-in-chief for Skate[Slate].
