Don’t forget about the Britannia Classic this weekend! Race spots are sold out, but it’s going to be one hell of a show so get out there and witness some great skateboard racing.

After 2 days of freeriding and practice, the race is sure to be a battle with $5000 on the line and 3 time Winner Kevin Reimer healthy and racing defending champ and new team mate Patrick Switzer. Always dangerous will be James Kelly, Kyle Martin and Dillon Stephens who will be healthy for this year’s race. Don’t rule out other 2011 podium notables George Mackenzie, Travis Craig  or Andrew Chapman.  The race will also feature 2 Junior Categories, Women’s and 30 and up.

Justus Zimmerly

Born in Chicago and raised on the flat Canadian prairies, it wasn’t until moving to Ontario for school in 2005 that Justus got a taste for riding skateboards down hills. Since then it’s been a bit of an obsession. He graduated with a degree in Film Studies, but spent as much time focussed on skateboarding as he did on studying. Now he’s living the good life in Oakland, California, riding his motorcycle and working as Editor-in-chief for Skate[Slate].
