Last year, Skate[Slate] Ambassador Ramón Königshausen took the Maryhill Festival of Speed title. A lot has changed in a year including Ramón’s study habits. Dan Pape

Dan has been connected to the lifeblood of downhill skateboarding for over a decade now. In 2009, he received a credit with National Geographic for his creation, The Fellowship of the Bearing. His 13 minute version of the film went on Banff’s “Radical Reels” World Tour. He often mentions that his #1 goal was is to create stoke in the longboarding industry. In 2010 he started a School for Kids so that they could learn how to ride safe before Co-Founding Skate[Slate]. He has dedicated a ton of time helping riders and the industry get to the next level.
