The Ripple Ridge from Landyachtz has been out for a little while now, but here we have a product video for it with Phillip Lemire being hilarious, ripping around town, and explaining why he designed the board the way he did.

Designed by long time team member Philip Lemire to be the ultimate city crusher, the Ripple Ridge finally has a video to call its own.  Philip spent months working on this board design with Landyachtz Engineer Aaron Brown. Most of Philip’s  riding is in the city, where it’s more convenient to have a smaller board with a kicktail. He wanted the board to feature more modern features to make it perform better and be more fun to ride so we engineered the rocker, wheel wells and concave tail.

We weren’t able to produce a product video until late in the Summer because Philip spends so much time at Sea working the tug boats off the coast of BC. A bonus of waiting this long to put the video out is that there is a first sneak peek at the all new Polar Bear trucks due out sometime in September.

Check it out and get on board!

Born in Chicago and raised on the flat Canadian prairies, it wasn’t until moving to Ontario for school in 2005 that Justus got a taste for riding skateboards down hills. Since then it’s been a bit of an obsession. He graduated with a degree in Film Studies, but spent as much time focussed on skateboarding as he did on studying. Now he’s living the good life in Oakland, California, riding his motorcycle and working as Editor-in-chief for Skate[Slate].
