Skate[Slate's] largest crew video yet – both in front and behind the lens. With 6 riders and 3 filmers, good things were bound to come of our session. Starting off in Deep Cove, Vancouver, and ending at the annual Skate the Forest Slide Jam, our boys in red stood out from the beginning. (In a good way of course). Check it as Brock Newman & Dan Pape welcome back Roman Bamburin to the fun of film and collaborate to bring you a cinematic experience of young, talented red riders.

Pro mountain biker Brett Tippie popped on through and checked out the scene.  He was pleasantly stoked! (1:04)

Dan Pape

Dan has been connected to the lifeblood of downhill skateboarding for over a decade now. In 2009, he received a credit with National Geographic for his creation, The Fellowship of the Bearing. His 13 minute version of the film went on Banff’s “Radical Reels” World Tour. He often mentions that his #1 goal was is to create stoke in the longboarding industry. In 2010 he started a School for Kids so that they could learn how to ride safe before Co-Founding Skate[Slate]. He has dedicated a ton of time helping riders and the industry get to the next level.

Skate[Slate] is proud to have Dan Pape on our squad.
