The video for week 2 of Switchback Longboards’ cross-Canada tour is up now. I didn’t do a proper breakdown, but 100% Skateboarding 10% of the time seems about right.

On the second week of the tour we all got to know each other better, know each others limits and breaking points and above all, how to exploit that breaking point. Even though we fight, we still have a great time and tons of laughs are had every step of the way.
This video officially introduces you to the “Cobra.” Something we developed early on in the race season. It’s almost worth more style points if you get yourself messier than your target. No meal is safe when the Cobra is around!

Justus Zimmerly

Born in Chicago and raised on the flat Canadian prairies, it wasn’t until moving to Ontario for school in 2005 that Justus got a taste for riding skateboards down hills. Since then it’s been a bit of an obsession. He graduated with a degree in Film Studies, but spent as much time focussed on skateboarding as he did on studying. Now he’s living the good life in Oakland, California, riding his motorcycle and working as Editor-in-chief for Skate[Slate].
