I was on board with calibers from the moment I saw the first pictures. These were the truck I would have made: low, no rake, and a well defined but shallow bushing seat that fits elims and barrels well.

I love how low these trucks are, both the 44s and 50s are lower than a randal 42, and both are much livelier. 44s have a lot of leverage, and they lean a lot, but still put out a lot of turn, something that can't be said for 42s. The axles are straight and thick, no play with bearings here at all.

These trucks have a smooth turn, no real slop or play. They are solid with good straight axles, so their grip and slide is comparable to any truck, and better than many.

The only quip is that these bring the wheelbase in by half an inch on each side compared to randals, so boards with smaller cutouts or wheel wells that weren't expecting a truck this low and turny that has an axle that far in, but many companies are already adapting their lineups to accomodate these trucks, because they are worth it!

This board is sweet. When I first pulled it out of the box because the wheel wells look really shallow. Apparently I'm blind and retarded because I can run super-low caliber trucks which lean for ages and 75mm wheels and only get wheelbite on really tight slow turns, with 70mm grippins wheelrub has only happened once and didn't even buck me off. These wheel wells are MASSIVE, they extend well behind the rear wheelbase to make room for indys and far in front of the inside wheelbase to accomodate calibers.

I have run mine exclusively on the 28"wb since getting it, and run mine with the rear dewedged back to flat from the rocker (this took 4 #10 washers) so it's about 47/44. It feels great, the concave is really comfortable on long rides, and the combination of sharp rails that dig into my shoes, good concave, and some rocker is that this board cups my feet like an asian pedicurist and grips them like super glue.

I like the swallowtail.

I don't like that it costs more than $110.

This board rocks.

The evo is a sweet board for just tucking. lock your feet into the drops and let the 30* difference between the trucks leave wobbles as a thing of the past. I have mine paired with crails, running the front loose and the rear snug it's stable into the 40s, after snugging up the front I've come damn close to 60. I love my evo for gripping runs, and it's a pretty decent board to learn slides on also. I really liked this board, it got me going fast, and paired with a decent amount of shoes I could conquer some pretty serious roads.

when I lost control of my board coming in from a pass I flew off my board, landing on my shoulder and immediately felt my helmet smash into the road and SCRAPEEE across the pavement. I started tumbling, smashing the back, side, and front of the helmet against the road. I suffered no loss of consciousness, no concussion, no head trauma at all. While the rest of my body was fucked, my head was perfectly fine thanks to this sweet ass helmet!

I won a set of these at a race, and at first they were great, grippy as hell, fast, sexy lookin wheels. Then I started riding them on some rougher paved roads: the smooth predictable drift became loose and wild, with the rear darting out unexpectedly (grabbing rail ftw) and the wheels lost a lot of their grip.
I haven't gotten a set of the yellows yet but I expect them to solve that problem.

Great wheels, as long as the roads are smooth.

First thing you need to do is dump the stock bushings. You can squeeze a barrel bottom elim top on with the stock KP but it works better with a 3" kingpin in it's stead. 3" KP is required for double barrel setups. They feel even better with the pivot cup replaced with nylon tubing.

On topmounts I like a barrel bottom elim top, and on my dropthrough and evo I ran double barrel.

BV pucks are as good as they come! I've ridden darkspeeds, S9 pucks, and mudslides (greenhorns)

the slide is one of the quietest out there, and super smooth over all surfaces. Velcro is strong. 3x3 are good for smaller hands, and the new 4x3 monsters are great for bear paws like mine! The wear is retarded on these things, they last forever! Not as hard and icy as darkspeeds, and longer lasting than anything else out there!

SIIIICK gloves. all leather construction, great fit, I just wish the wrist cinch on the glove was a little farther back but I have giant bear paws so whatever. All leather holds up to road great, they're super comfortable, the only catch is that you have to replace the pucks ASAP. Throw some Phat Deanz, Black Velvets, or Darkspeeds on and you're golden.
