Really? I mean seriously, thats a board design?
I checked this board out in some shop on the island, Im really glad I had the chance to stand on it because when I first saw it I wasn't really sure where or how you you would stand on this board. What I discovered is: your not supposed to stand on it. This concave is so useless I couldn't even believe it. The V thing in the front forces your foot way back from the front truck so you loose a ton leverage and stability, that and the way it comes to a point would cause your foot to cramp. The elaborately massive V concave thing in the middle (Im assuming this is directly combating rayne's highly successful W concave) is basically useless. I found no comfortable spot for my foot in any position, especially since there is no other regular concave on the board so it kind of forces your back foot off the board. The wheel base is stupid huge and the standing platform sucks. I like zombies and glow in the dark stuff but zombies are so played out these days and the zombie's on the board look like a shitty rip off of istockphoto or something. Not only that reflective graphics are so tacky and stupid. I gotta say Im disappointed in this board, though I haven't been impressed with any of sayshun's line up yet.

I didn't realize how awesome the radial drop until I bought a Sector 9 Lacey. I've always adore Sector 9 and really wanted to use Lacey, but I realized that the Killswitch was too awesome. W Concave and the radial drops are pretty awesome. The Radial drop is like power steering for skateboards. Price may be a bit high, never the less an awesome board.

I have a few reservations on the drop through version though as I know two people that had the drop through versions and quickly delammed and they weren't really riding them hard. The drop through feels half baked.

Get it! Awesome for freeriding and downhill. Can't imagine any other board that can replace this.

alright, i'll start from the top.
PRICE: 150 bucks is a good price nowadays. with rayne's price tag on most boards at 160-180 and loaded's decks from 180-200, 150 isn't bad at all. At the same time, EW has the supermodel at 100, and comet has the FSM at 140. The 9-5 is right in the middle. really a good price for the quality you get in this board.
PERFORMANCE: The 3 stage concave (as i like to call it. more of a \_/ as opposed to a continuous U) is great. I had my doubts at first, but it really does the trick. When you're just standing on it, it does put more pressure on my toes/heel however. The next main thing this deck has to offer is the gas pedal. I like it a lot really. It helps you get more leverage, especially on big toeside standups. The rocker (1/2" i believe) is barely noticeable, yet it is there and it helps. If you push/footbrake mongo, this will help you even more. As far as the nose and tail, they are small but you can still bust little shovits and other stuff.
GRAPHICS/STYLE: the graphic's finish is gloss, and its beautiful. however, the actual design of the graphic is not quite appealing to me. the fish-headed businessmen creep me out a little. you have to have watched the video to know what it's all about. I love the black finish though, looks solid when you mount it with trucks and wheels.
CARVE: This refers more to the actual setup than the board, in my opinion. Did some chill carving on it yesterday and, with the right setup, it is awesome. just cruisin, what got most of us into serious skating in the first place.
CRUISE: you can cruise on any board, and there will be no huge difference from one board to another. Since the board is stiff, you get a more bumpy ride when rolling over rocks, branches, etc. flexy would be better for cruise, not for what you want this board to do.
DOWNHILL: there are more speed-oriented decks, but this one will work. Stiff means stable (in a way), and this board is stiff. i havent taken it to serious speed, though. only 30, where it was fine.
FREERIDE: this is what this board was really made for. LY gives it a 6 out of 5 on freeride. It locks your feet in for any standup at any speed. I've gone down my local freeride hill, and where i normally have to coleman, i could push out the deck standing up. Get ready for faster, longer standups on this deck. Toesides are great because of the gas pedal. One last thing i'd like to say on this topic is that, if your feet are big enough, you dont have to move your foot from a heelside to toeside slide. very helpful in quick 360s.
PUSH: the board is dropped through, and it does have a bit of rocker. This makes it lower to the ground, and thus, easier to push with. if you push mongo like me, your back foot will be closer to the ground and when your front foot comes onto the board, it won't have to go up as much. very helpful for lazy people like me.
SLIDE: kind of goes along with freeride. when you put your hands down, you can direct the board very easily in a slide. It isn't heavy at all. When you ride this board for the first time, you wont even want to put your hands down, though. I did all standup slides the first week i had it.

YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS BOARD. I recommend it for anybody. At first it may seem as if the standing platform would be too big, but it is really helpful (and you will want it when setting up for slides. I naturally make my stance bigger before the slide). great beginner or advanced rider deck, pick one up today!

this board is veery nice. the price is good at 150 for the deck, and all of the specs are great. im 6'1 and the length is prett nice. it could be 1 inch longer tho, as i have a little trouble grabbing for toe side predrifts. i love the rocker on this thing. i use to ride a comet pagan, but the thing got epic delam and cracking. the w concave is very nice for when im going into a turn, and when im sliding. it provides be nice amounts of grip and all that jazz. the gas pedals were a bit of a concern. i flipped it a few times and they started to wear. so i watched brutalback's video on youtube about the 9two5 (check out his channel. nice guy, sic rider.) so anyway i vulcanized gnar grip onto the pedals and they now have a bit of protection. seriously check out this board. landyachtz did an amazing job on this board.

Alright, I know all of you longboard enthusiasts out there are like, "loaded suck" or "loadeds are the best". Neither of these statements are true.
1st, i'd like to talk about the price. if you buy this board, you are overpaying for a skate deck. what you pay for is the loaded name. loaded claims that you are paying for the bamboo, fiberglass whatever, but there are other companies who do this too.
2nd, do not downhill on this board. the cave is not enough, grip is not enough. if you plan on doing faster stuff, get a downhill specific board
3rd, there are good things about this board. it is the best carver/cruiser that i've ever ridden. you can bust bigspins, do anything with this board.
4th, it is very, very flexy. mine got hit by a car with no problems whatsoever.
this is a great beginners board. i started out on it, and i would buy it if money isn't an option.

Love this freaken board. Its 1/2 inch drop really locks your feet in and you still get some nice leverage. The w in the back sticks my foot in when I'm doin slides (also I have vicious) and such. This board is good for everything. Probably my favorite board EVER and the only other board I can ride is a Rogers Bros ASYM. My only complaint is that the wheelbase options are a little long for my taste.
I own the 39" one but hoping to get the 36" soon.

Tested this baby on a technical hill..(14 turns on 50 to 60 kph) it performed really well.. I love the feel of the rocker tub.. not to aggressive feels really comfortable when your hitting the break neck speed... great all around board .. easy to push 'coz it's light.. great for freeriding 'coz of it's asymmetrical rocker ... and adjustable wheel base.. all in all awesome board..

Rad wheels! Slide very smooth, leave nice white thane lines. my problem... FLATSPOTS! ive flatspotted a set in just one session on bike paths! its terrible! I've ridden 78a and 81a. 81a is slightly better and doesnt feel that much harder.
but, the slide makes up for it. oh how it does.

They are from a good material, I have a pair about six years and they are ok. But you need change the stock parts, Bushings, Bushings Cup and Kingpins.

Stock Bushings for a pair of Barrel Bushings from Khiro, Venom or ABEC 11. They need are durometer soft or medium, never hard

The Kingpins need be long

The Bushings Cup need be flat because the Barrel Bushings.

So with the setup above you will have a good pair of Crail Trucks for Carving, FreeRide and Slide.

They are not good to downhill, they shake a lot after get high speed.

These things are really nice for what they do. The camera itself is sweet. Takes good shots, light, compact, and tons of mounting options. My beef with this camera is that all of the casings, and mounting options are of horrible quality. Like I've had a ton of casings crack in any way possible. I've mounted them to boards and had regular road vibrations knock the camera off.

Really, what good is a camera that shoots good footage if the housing breaks once a month? $20 a pop for those, and to replace the lenses kind of sucks. Consider spending a good $100 on top of the cost of the camera to replace casings for the life of the camera, otherwise it's useless.

I've had about 5 of these through the course of my time riding. Every single one of them has broken. Four of them in the exact same spot at the drop, and the other one split straight down the middle (Flush).

The design is there, I love the design and the feel, but comet uses such stupid ass materials and glues to "go green" and all that BS, and their boards--in turn--just fall apart.

The board performs very well while it lasts, cool graphics, fine for carving and cruising around. I wouldn't recommend it for downhill, but it freerides like a beast, and slides super well. Slopestyle masterboard. Pushing it is easy as well because of the drop through and rocker. Low.

Enjoy, just don't beat it up, early grab, hit ramps, ride in the rain, or pretty much do anything fun on it or it'll just fall apart.

Well, the hangers aren't all that bad. The angle is nice for freeriding as well. The bushing seats are nicer than most cast trucks, but the bushings and baseplates are absolutely horrible. The bushings are just terrible. They feel is awful. They're mushy, not really any rebound, and such an odd feeling durometer. Not quite hard enough for downhilling, but shaped horribly for freeriding.

Aside from that the baseplates have ribbed sections for the kingpins to fit into so they dont move. The kingpins are shit, and if you replace them, those ribbed sections make so that new kingpins wiggle around like mad, and have super duper slop. Baseplate break as well.

All the baseplate issues were resolved with the newer model.

These wheels are expensive, but the urethane used is expensive and high quality--not like the Abec11 formula. Reflex urethane is super fast, and high density, but the slide isn't the greatest--especially with the mould still on the wheels.

If you pick your spots with these wheels, using them on courses that are all grip and rip, you'll be very pleased, but I wouldn't want to use these wheels on a technical course that requires a lot of drifting. They also don't freeride super comfortably until they're hella broken in.

They perform well for what they are, but I'd say they aren't exactly the greatest all-around wheel.

This urethane doesn't last long. In turn, they're relatively cheap. Pretty fun wheels. The harder ones are a bit icey with the large cores, and higher durometer, but they're not bad freeride wheels.

Flatspots are inevitable with the low quality urethane. I prefer flashbacks, and I think Abec11 was smart to just get these out of the lineup and turn em into centerset freeride wheels.

Here's the thing with these wheels. The feel of the 80as is spot on. They have the perfect combination of grip and slide, SO... what these wheels offer is a little less grip, but they last a bit longer. In my opinion, they don't feel as good in slide, or for gripping turns, but they do last longer than the 80a's; which in all honesty is the only set back with those wheels--aside from the cost.

They're naturally a bit faster as well.

More of the top riders in the world ride these wheels than any other. There is a pretty good reason why. These wheels really do it all. They don't grip better, or slide better, or last longer than all the rest, but they are the best happy medium. They slide when you want em, grip when you need em to, and just have an awesome feel. They do not last very long, but they wear evenly, so you get a good long life out of em, even after they start to wear. Highly recommended, good for just about any type of riding. A tad expensive for such cheap urethane. Especially knowing what it cost to make them. They're literally raping you at $51 a set.

Without a doubt, these are the best feeling cast trucks made. You really cant beat these for the price. Fun as hell going slow, carvy, 50* pivot axis makes them nimble, and easy to throw around. Ive taken em up to 60mph, super fun anywhere in between. Highly recommended. The only drawback is that the hangers and axles bend pretty easily. Luckily they replace them for free for life. The drawback is worth it for me in the long run.

This deck is sweet. Pretty straightforward. Nice concave, not too mellow, not too aggressive. The W is comfortable in the back. The deck is a bit long for my liking, but if you don't mind a longer wheelbase this would probably suit you well. Pretty solid construction, light deck, just a bit pricey.

This deck is really pretty sweet. The size of the deck is really nice. Short wheelbase makes it super nimble, while giving you plenty of platform. Plenty of room for me at 6'2". Just beware, these decks warp. Mine was warped when it arrived at my door.

Probably the best freeride board ever, and arguably the best drop platform deck of all time. The only complaint I have is that these things break down after a bit of use. I have had a few of these over the years, and they have all failed on construction eventually. Some faster than others. They seem to delam at the drop, and the fiberglass top and bottom layer peel back. I much prefer an all maple deck, but the delam and cracking at the drop are the price you pay for the steepness of the drop.

I love this thing, freerides like a beast.

These trucks are where it is at. If you have a single setup for doing it all and you want to use precisions, these are the way to go. I have ridden everything imaginable in the realm of precision trucks, and these pretty much take the positive aspects of all of the other trucks and combines it into one super truck.

Hella solid at the top, and you can lean forever if you want to (barrels) or if you'd like to lean less, throw an elim or two in.

The price is high, yes, but they are worth it. If you are willing to spend $315 on Kahas, you're nuts not to spend the extra $60 on a truck that just absolutely blows everything out of the water.

Ehh. From the gate, I will tell you that I have a beef with any skateboard that is made of metal. If you can get past that, you should love this deck.

The concave is dope for sure. The size is spot on. Although there are a ton of wheelbase options, I wish they drilled more for the sheer fact that it is hard as hell to drill through it if you'd like a shorter wheelbase (which I do.)

Aside from that, if this deck was made of wood, I would have rated it a solid 9/10. The feel of aluminum, and added weight makes it just impractical for me.
