A little bit of a downhill flashback today in the form of the August 1981 issue of Thrasher Magazine. The first year for Thrasher was 1981 and the august issue covered the Laguna Seca: Maximum Downhill competition. The cover featured a photo of downhill legends Roger Hickey and Steve Hutson charging the course in Monterey California. You can check out the issue in the archives of the Thrasher site. A quick look through gives a great window into the downhill skateboarding days of the past.
