Danger Bay 9: Notes from the field

Danger Bay 9 today was crazy and so slick from all the rain in the morning.  It made for some unique rides down the run and for some gnarly crashes.  The race was run well and the placement of people in heats was fair.  Rain today even made the best of riders in the sport fall to their knees and get tossed by the road. I took a crazy fall today doing pretty much a break dance move consisting of a 180 head stand then landing on my feet! Later in the day during the quarter finals the road started to patch up and the race turned to a whole different style.  Rain wheels were switched and the big guns came out blazing.  Danger Bay really showed what Coast riding is all about with the elements of water, then to dry  fun roads.  - Zen Shikaze
