Longboard Bobsledding: Accident & Race Times

This just in from Patrick Switzer....

"We're on the way to the hospital to see what the damage is. Danny Strasser took a big fall today and snapped his axle at about 80km/hr in the 360 loop. It was the first 'demonstration' run on the track. Looks like he'll be OK, but its looking like a broken arm and possible injury to his jaw."

According to Patrick, riders continued placing times after the fall. Martin Siegrist caught the fastest time once and held the fastest velocity on the bottom section of 60km/hr, while our own Patrick Switzer placed the fastest times 6 runs out of 7 of the day holding the fastest time of the day at 59.8km/hr.
