Black Velvet Slide Pucks are "home and hand-made" slide pucks made out of highly durable UHMW (Ultra-High Molecular Weight). Each puck is made one by one, precisely cut, sanded, and beveled with time and care.
Velvet UHMW is self-lubricating (oil impregnated), has an extremely low coefficient of friction, and delivers exceptional wear resistance. This means light material that fits precisely on your palm for smooth sliding. The addition of having an extremely low co-efficient of friction allows deep, long slides WITHOUT losing the speed you need.
In addition, Black Velvet wear resistance is phenomenal, resulting in almost no thickness wear after months of riding.
Lastly, and one of the most important aspects of a great slide puck, Black Velvet Slide Pucks are beveled, minimizing your risks of catching an edge, losing your puck, and killing your stoke.

BV pucks are as good as they come! I've ridden darkspeeds, S9 pucks, and mudslides (greenhorns)
the slide is one of the quietest out there, and super smooth over all surfaces. Velcro is strong. 3x3 are good for smaller hands, and the new 4x3 monsters are great for bear paws like mine! The wear is retarded on these things, they last forever! Not as hard and icy as darkspeeds, and longer lasting than anything else out there!

when you put a hand on the ground with these pucks it feels as if the puck is a part of your hand its so smooth they are the perfect size for just about any glove and there great for anything you want to do. The price is fine for how long these last and the black puck looks cool.
