Good for a light freeride or beginners skaters
They are from a good material, I have a pair about six years and they are ok. But you need change the stock parts, Bushings, Bushings Cup and Kingpins.
Stock Bushings for a pair of Barrel Bushings from Khiro, Venom or ABEC 11. They need are durometer soft or medium, never hard
The Kingpins need be long
The Bushings Cup need be flat because the Barrel Bushings.
So with the setup above you will have a good pair of Crail Trucks for Carving, FreeRide and Slide.
They are not good to downhill, they shake a lot after get high speed.
Good once you tune them
First thing you need to do is dump the stock bushings. You can squeeze a barrel bottom elim top on with the stock KP but it works better with a 3" kingpin in it's stead. 3" KP is required for double barrel setups. They feel even better with the pivot cup replaced with nylon tubing.
On topmounts I like a barrel bottom elim top, and on my dropthrough and evo I ran double barrel.
Purchase.
These easily beat out my munkae and zealous, they really do preform well when dialed in correctly. Id highly recommend new bushings, kingpins, and pivot cups. Also I suggest super or hot glueing the cups in for a less sloppy ride! Over all these trucks are precision killers and if they made more options it would be the best truck out there. It has great bushing seats and they're tough and reliable and made with speed and control in mind!
they're fun
These trucks are good for going fast and when dialed in right can be great for freeride. they're a little over priced but if you have the money they're worth it.
Someone's trash could be someone else's gem
I did not like these, personally. I found them either too tight or too floopy. This could possibly have something to do with the bushing/truck combination. I had some venom elims on there (which I use on other cast trucks without this problem). But like I mentionned in the title, these were not for me, but they could be someone elses favorite truck. However, they are stable trucks, but not very turny. I usually think to myself that stability comes from a good tuck, but turning comes from the truck. Try to test them out before. Don't rule them out because I didn't like them.
